This site was built, and is maintained, by BHS alumni. The primary goals of this site are to reconnect with alumni, and share/protect the history of Birmingham H.S. of Van Nuys, CA. Every BHS alumni is welcome to join in; however, at least for now, the classes of '57 - '62 are the main feature.
If you are an alumni of BHS and a first time visitor to this site, WE NEED YOU! It is very important that you visit the "Guestbook", giving your name (as found in a BHS annual), the year your class graduated, and please leave a email address at which you can be contacted!
After leaving your information in the "Guestbook", the fun begins! You can contact long-lost friends and acquaintances; play Trivia; check out Our Story; Cartoons; and visit the different links shown in the left column.
If you would like to Chat with the other alumni from BHS, we have a one-to-one and chatroom conference service dedicated exclusively to this site and it's alumni. This is a great way to use the power of internet chatrooms, without the garbage! This chatroom is active almost nightly, with small conversations of 2-5 folks. Alumni change addresses (phone, physical, email) and they fail to notify this site.
Permanent Solution:
Open a email account that is totally independent from your ISP carrier. Those independent email accounts are available with Yahoo and Google just to name two.
Advantage(s):
1) You can always be emailed using the independent email carrier.
2) You are not "hostage" to your ISP email account.
This means you can change your ISP, without contacting everyone that your email changed.
3) When away from your ISP area, you can access your email.
