Flavored Ice Tea -

Do you like flavored Iced Tea ?  If you do here's a great alternative to buying "Snapple Peach" or "Snapple Raspberry".  This example will use "Peach" as the base, but you can use any flavor offered.  Buy " Market Pantry Sugar Free Peach Tea" at Target ($1.77 as of 1/20/06).  This a good product, but it does not dissolve in cold water very well (Crystal Lite dissolves very well, but it is almost 3 times the expense!).  To get around the problem with the Market Pantry brand open up two tubs of the flavored (Peach) powder and place in a two cup measuring container.  Add 1 cup hot water and stir until totally dissolved.  Let cool for 5-10 minutes and add 1 cup cold drinking water.  Pour the 2 cups of "Super Concentrate" Peach mix into a small container ( I use a 17 oz. drinking water container).  Refrigerate.  Now when you want a glass of Iced Tea, just put ice in glass, add water, and add the "Super Concentrate" Peach mix to suit your taste.
Alternative method is to add the "Super Concentrate" to your prepared regular Ice Tea (Lipton, etc.).  Just put your regular tea in a glass and add concentrate to taste.
All-in-all, you save money with Market Pantry brand and best of all you save Calories, etc. over Snapple (or similar) non-diet drink.  Using the "Super Concentrate" could not be any easier !
8 oz. of Peach Ice Tea contains 5 calories...that's it !  No Carbs, No Fat, nothing but 5 calories!

Propel -

Try drinking "Propel" (Grape/Berry/Kiwi-Strawberry/Black Cherry/Lemon) for breakfast. It's very low on Calories (8 oz. has 10 Cals !) and it offers a change of pace for a breakfast drink. Both Costco and WalMart carry it at a reasonable price. ke

"Good Earth Original" tea bags (regular or decaf).  Has a "delicious sweet-cinnamon-herb" flavor.  Three tea bags to make 2 qts. iced tea.  No sweetener needed !  0 Cals. ka
